Elliot Frankal, Director 

Elliot is a public relations professional and former Head of Communications for the UN Principles for Responsible Investment. He has watched the growth of the responsible investment industry over recent years and worked with clients such as the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, UNEP Finance Initiative and UK Trade and Investment.

Elliot previously worked as a researcher and speechwriter in the British House of Commons and was senior consultant for a political PR firm in London, during which time he was published in newspapers including The Guardian, Observer and Financial Times.

Caroline Barraclough, Senior Consultant
Caroline has over ten years experience in financial and sustainability communications. She previously led marketing and communications activity at sustainable investment specialists WHEB, and before that was Marketing Manager at Impax Asset Management. She has worked with the Carbon Tracker Initiative and Insight Investment and has a First Class Honours degree from Oxford University. Caroline is also a qualified yoga teacher.

Sarah Cooper, Account Executive
Sarah is an experienced writer, researcher and communicator with deep experience in the responsible investment sector. She previously worked for development finance institution CDC Group - where she helped develop ESG metrics and publications, and has worked for Euromoney and responsible investment research agency EIRIS. Recently, she has been involved with organising an event on women's entrepreneurship in West Africa. She has a strong academic background including a law degree from the University of Waikato in New Zealand. 

Yasmine Svan, Account Executive
Yasmine is a talented writer and public relations professional. She previously worked as the Editor of Finance Matters, a social enterprise working to put environmental and social sustainability at the heart of finance; and as a research analyst at a market research provider, supporting private equity firms and hedge funds on market entry and due diligence cases. Yasmine has an MSc in Global Governance from UCL. 

Miranda Barham, Consultant 
Miranda has over 15 years of experience in marketing, communications and has worked with institutional investment managers, service providers and not-for-profits. She has held senior positions in PR agencies in both London and Hong Kong and has worked in-house with a major European energy exchange.

Caroline Randle, Consultant
Caroline is an experienced corporate communications professional with over twenty years experience advising large corporations, public sector bodies and not for profits. She leads on clients such as CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) and CERES. Previous work includes roles with the IEMA (Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment) and PR agency Waggener Edstrom Worldwide.

Adam Garfunkel, Associate writer

Adam has 15 years experience working as a consultant and writer in corporate sustainability reporting and responsible investment. He has worked with the likes of the adidas Group, Calvert plc, United Nations Environment Programme, The Body Shop, Land Securities and General Motors.

Adam previously worked at a niche ethical design and communications agency called C21 until it was sold in 2002. Since then, Adam has worked for himself and with many leading design and PR agencies. Adam holds an MSc in the Public Understanding of Environmental Change from UCL.

Dan Sonnenberg, Associate consultant

Dan is a respected sustainability consultant based in South Africa. He has been involved at the forefront of many initiatives in the sustainability arena in South Africa including the country’s first report on responsible investing and the Johannesburg Stock Exchange’s Socially Responsible Investment Index. He specializes in the mining sector and has worked on on annual and CSR reports for the likes of Anglo American Platinum, Xstrata Coal South Africa, Randgold Resources and AngloGold Ashanti.

Bruce Millar, Associate writer

Bruce is a writer and editor with wide experience in print journalism, working in news and features on national newspapers and magazines including the Financial Times. He has also worked on a number of Sunday Times special supplements on sustainability. He is a former lecturer in practical journalism at City University, London.

Mark Nicholls, Associate writer

Mark is a consultant and journalist specialising in environmental finance, responsible investment, ESG disclosure, carbon markets and low-carbon business and finance. He was the co-founder and editor of Environmental Finance magazine from 1999 to 2013. He has written for the Guardian, Responsible Investor, Scientific American and Environmental Finance, among others.

Sherry Design, Associate designers

Our designers have over 18 years experience in visual communication and brand development. They have worked with the likes of The FA Premier League, UNPRI, Orange, BP and the Arts Council England.

Fearghal Corbett, Associate designer

Fearghal has been working in communications design for over ten years, including three years in BBC Design & Publications. He works across branding, print and the web, and puts emphasis on using design to communicate in clear and compelling ways. 

James Brown, Associate digital design

James is our web guru and a big believer in solving problems with better design. In digital he's worked in many roles - as a project manager, art director, consultant and technical director - for the British Library, digital agencies Webstars and PublicZone, and other small groups in London and York, where he grew up. He enjoys applying his social psychology degree in a visual context. 

Elliot Manches, Associate film maker

Elliot is a film maker with a passion for creativity and innovation. He has produced a wide range of short films and documentaries for a diverse range of clients including government agencies, HBOS, Unilever, GSK and the Young Foundation. Elliot is also an ethnographer and an industry qualified print journalist, published at The Independent newspaper.

Linstock Communications, Associate media agency

Our partner media consultants represent retail and institutional organisations; developing and implementing media campaigns for fund managers, life companies, professional services firms and financial trade bodies. Linstock has successfully completed projects to generate awareness on issues around responsible and sustainable investment. In addition to profile raising, their work includes thought leadership and commentary campaigns delivered through print, broadcast and online media. Linstock is a member of the Public Relations Consultants Association (PRCA) and holds its Consultancy Management Standard accreditation
